- AAMA 2604 Powder Coating: Our powder-coated finishes meet AAMA 2604 standards for exterior architectural aluminum. This specification measures color retention, weather resistance, and durability. Lower-grade coatings often fade or chalk after only a few years of sun exposure.
- Heights and Colors: Standard heights include 3, 4, 4½, 5, and 6 feet. Black remains the most popular color, although bronze, white, beige, sandstone, and green are also available.
- Built for Missouri Soil: We set ornamental posts 30–36 inches deep in concrete, below the local frost line based on the Missouri PSC State Frost Depth Map. Proper post depth helps prevent movement, leaning, and gate problems caused by Missouri’s freeze-thaw cycles.
Pool Fencing Requirements
Pool fencing is where ornamental aluminum earns its keep. The Warrenton Building Department requires pool barrier fences to be erected according to the adopted City Building Code, per Warrenton Municipal Code §420.090(J). In practice, that means:
- Minimum 4-foot height measured from the outside ground
- Maximum 4-inch picket gap — a child’s head must not pass through
- Self-closing, self-latching gates with the latch positioned out of a small child’s reach
- No climbable horizontal members on the poolside of the fence

Permits, HOA Approval, and Property Line Rules in Warren County
All new fences in the City of Warrenton require a permit per the City Building Department residential fence guide. The fee is $40.00 (fee schedule). Maintenance on an existing fence does not require a permit as long as you are not changing size or location.
